There is something about being creative that feels as if it 'completes you'. So once it has been found, when it is gone again - it is very easy to feel a lost feeling that is almost impossible to shake.
With children, horses and country life - there wasn't as if I was in need of 'things to do' but I kept on having that feeling that there was something I had forgotten. It was like a small itch that I couldn't scratch but it would keep me up at night - a tiny pebble in the shoe that would eventually hurt my foot so much it would be impossible to walk - a soft murmur in the back of my head that kept pulling focus from everything and anything. So, in the end I stopped to listen, solve and soothe.
“I found it was a tiny little Creative Sprite that had been so woefully neglected that it was barely there. It bit my finger, stuck the fangs in and locked gaze with me hissing - 'Never do that again'.”
I was just so delighted having found it in time that I have done my outmost to nurture in ever since. Together we came up with Pixi Rebels and we are rumbling onbound and onwards on our shared creative journey where our focus is the be High in Creative Fun and Low on Impact on the Earth. To tread lightly and leave behind something better than how we found it.
